About Me

Bob-ul-Islam
I'm a product of my environment, upbringing, heritage. I consider myself a Londoner, who was born in Bangladesh, raised in the UK. My cultural background is therefore British and Bangladeshi. I choose to take the best aspects of both, my criteria for that is Islam. To those who think that this is backward do not know my faith properly - that includes many muslims too. I welcome all to look into it with an enquiring mind. At the least you might get to understand how a third of the worlds population live and possibly why they are the way they are. There is no obligation or compulsion. I'm happily married with 2 children, a girl (10yrs) and boy (4yrs). I work in the Telecoms industry for a well known company as a Software Engineer. Currently I'm dieting and my blogs are often about my progress on that. They are also about anything I think that is of interest to me.
