Across the plateau and descending

I thought I'd hit a plateau when I picked up a pound in weight around 2 weeks ago. The following week I managed to lose it of course. As I have probably mentioned before I am always weighing myself. However my weighing and measurement day is Saturday. I weigh and measure myself in the morning (normally around 10am).

Here is an update:
On 31 Nov 2007: Weight = 173lbs (78.47kg), Waist = 102cm (40 in), BMI = 31.6
On 22 Feb 2008: Weight = 148lbs (67.13kg), Waist = 84cm (33.07 in), BMI = 27.1
On 14 Mar 2008: Weight = 146lbs (66.23kg), Waist = 82cm (32.3 in), BMI = 26.7
On 19 Mar 2008: Weight = 144lbs (65.32kg), Waist = 82cm (32.3 in), BMI = 26.3

As you can imagine I was pleased to have pushed past my plateau :)

Now I'm hoping the weight loss increases. Last weeks loss was actually 1.5lbs and I'm hoping to push that up to 2lbs a week. I'm still playing badminton and football (soccer) once a week. However as this is Easter week, we are not playing football this week or the next :(

When I was 173lbs playing badminton (casual) would burn 353 calories per hour, now at 144lbs it's 294 calories. Need to work harder to burn more but I am very happy that I'm at this stage - Alhamdulillah!

Similarly my 5-a-side football games used to burn 785 calories but now I burn 653 calories per hour.

The above info was taken from this site: caloriesperhour.com

I'm hoping to increase the activity that I am doing. I still jump around and generally mess around with my kids (see: Being a moo-cow helps with weight-loss)

Only 11lbs to go!
