For some reason I've slowed down and losing approximately 1lb (0.454kg) a week. This is normal as most diets tell you that it is safe to lose 1-2lbs a week. After my phenomenal loss in December I am a little disappointed despite knowing that the weight-loss I'm experiencing is healthy and is more likely to stay off.
The usual update (most earlier entries have been removed):
On 31 Nov 2007: Weight = 173lbs (78.47kg), Waist = 102cm (40 in), BMI = 31.6
...
On 21 Jan 2008: Weight = 153lbs (69.4kg), Waist = 87cm (34.3 in), BMI = 28.0
On 28 Jan 2008: Weight = 151lbs (68.5kg), Waist = 86cm (33.9 in), BMI = 27.6
On 06 Feb 2008: Weight = 150lbs (68.04kg), Waist = 85cm (33.46 in), BMI = 27.4
Overall I'm pleased with progress. I've gone from being classed as Obese to being slightly overweight. I'm within 1 stone (14lbs/6.4kg) of my target weight. If I lose 1lb a week from now on, I should reach my target by mid may.
My 35th birthday is in July, so hopefully I'll make it by that time. I've set myself a target to get a healthier lifestyle by 35. So far I'm on target Alhamdulillah. Keep me in your dua's.
