It seems that general diet advice for eating breakfast is a correct one. I saw the following article on the BBC site:
Breakfast 'keeps teenagers lean'
I used to miss breakfast regularly, this meant sometimes I munched too much at lunch time. Now with my current diet, I'm having a shake for breakfast and when I end this diet program I'll replace it with a healthy alternative.
But according to the article you don't have to eat a healthy breakfast, just having breakfast makes a difference. I know it does because I have lots more energy and I am not as lethargic. I am more willing to run for the bus - something I seldom did when I was a lot heavier.
Some say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It certainly makes all the difference.
